DATE: November 2025
PLACE: Fuji Speedway Hotel
We recently held the
Matcha Calligraphy® International Cultural Art Program at the Fuji Speedway Hotel, welcoming
corporate executives who are active on the world stage.
This program is a Shoran original luxury cultural experience that allows participants to experience the aesthetic senses of
**”stillness,” “pause,” and “harmony “** at the core of Japanese culture through
the aroma of matcha green tea, the breath of a brush, and the beauty of margins.
Matcha Calligraphy® creates a cultural dialogue that transcends language
Matcha Calligraphy®, which uses Shizuoka matcha tea as ink, is a five-sense art experience that involves not only sight, but also smell, breath, and concentration.
In the serenity of facing a single letter,
each participant’s inner thoughts and philosophy crystallize into a unique work of art.
The participants this time were leaders of the executive community who gathered from
countries around the world.
The art medium created a natural dialogue that transcended language and national borders.
It was impressive to see how the whole place became softly united.
This experience was not only an introduction to Japanese culture, but also a time of high value in terms of
cultural diplomacy and art diplomacy.
